Based on the design of the V7 Vivid Pro, these op amps have been updated to fit in smaller enclosures and with a reduced power consumption footprint to be more efficient (Power consumption is approximately half of the pros). These have a smaller height and no longer use an aluminum heatsink so they are now compatible with more of the compact headphone amps and DACs currently out on the market
